Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions govern product sales made on birdhouse-paradise.com between Paradis du Nichoir and any private customer. Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

2. Products and prices

Paradis du Nichoir offers a specialist selection of products. Products available are those shown on the website at the time of browsing, subject to stock availability. Prices are stated in euros, including all applicable taxes, excluding delivery charges shown before the order is confirmed.

3. Orders

An order is confirmed after the products have been selected, delivery information entered and full payment made through Stripe Checkout. A confirmation email is sent automatically to the address provided.

4. Payment

Payment is made in full by bank card through Stripe when the order is placed. Paradis du Nichoir does not store any bank card data.

5. Delivery

Delivery times and destinations are detailed on our Deliverypage. Risk passes to the customer only when the product is physically handed over.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, customers have a statutory period of 14 clear days from receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal. For greater convenience, Paradis du Nichoir extends this period to 30 days. Full details are available on our Returns & refundspage.

7. Statutory guarantees

All our products are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity under Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and the guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, within the applicable statutory periods. These guarantees apply independently of our two-year commercial guarantee.

8. Liability

Paradis du Nichoir cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of products, including installation that does not follow the recommendations on the product pages.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data collected when an order is placed is described in our privacy policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer may use a consumer mediation service under the conditions set out in our legal noticebefore taking legal action.
